Patch #0.1.15: Option Menu Overhaul and Bug Fixes

A new Ingame Settings Menu, Soundsettings hotfix and some bug fixes has been successfully deployed to the Beta Server. This update targets graphical consistency, restores full functionality to your audio configuration panel, and squashes a couple of long-standing gameplay bugs.

Here is the full breakdown of the changes now active in your client:

Standardized Maximum View Distances

We have temporarily removed the manual configuration sliders for LOD (Level of Detail), View Distance, and Vegetation Distance due to some underlying mechanical jank.

For the time being, these settings will automatically default to the absolute maximum values currently supported by the engine. This ensures the world looks as crisp and expansive as possible without causing erratic frame drops or asset-popping.

Audio Settings fix

  • The volume sliders in the new options menu are now fully operational. Adjusting your audio levels will now properly reflect in-game.
  • We have overhauled the fade-in and fade-out mechanics for 3D proximity audio sources (such as ambient shop music). While the system isn’t quite at our final target destination yet, transitions when entering and leaving areas with localized sound should feel significantly smoother and more natural.

Critical Gameplay & Stability Fixes

  • We have successfully tracked down and eliminated the reload bug. Weapons should now reload their ammunition without an unexpected second reload.
  • Resolved a critical client crash tied to the application and expiration of temporary effects.
